This policy explains what information Singularity Cube (singularitycube.com, "the site") collects and how it is used. The site is operated by SiEdge.
No accounts
You do not need to create an account to play, and we do not ask for your name, email address or other contact details.
Data stored on your device
The game uses your browser's localStorage to save your progress, unfinished puzzles, solve times, best titles, streaks and settings. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Optional leaderboard
If you choose to add your name to the leaderboard after a solve, we store the display name you enter, your solve time, number of moves, puzzle mode (3×3 or 4×4), the puzzle date, and a random anonymous identifier generated on your device so your own entry can be highlighted. This information is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and is shown publicly on the leaderboard. Please do not use your real name or personal information as a display name. Leaderboard use is entirely optional.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and request times in server logs to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. The game also loads its 3D library from the jsDelivr content network.
Advertising and cookies
The site may display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Children
The site is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
